Your Complete assignment is worth 75 points each week and is also due Sunday night by 11:59 pm CT. There is more detail about the assignments in the narrated syllabus – so watch it!
The minimum word count for the Complete assignment is 1500 words using at least 4 scholarly sources plus the textbook. That is across the entire assignment, not per question (that would be a very long assignment!). This is if you are shooting for an “average” grade of C. If you are wanting to do A or B level work the expectation is that the assignment would be more detailed and in depth (more words!). (To clarify, word counts do not include bibliographies/references. Only the words of the answer count).
I am looking for you to be able to formulate a coherent graduate level argument based on evidence in both the Initial Post and the Complete assignments. That “evidence” is the text and your outside academic research. By “academic research” I mean journal articles you have found from the library’s databases and Google Scholar – not just Google. Blogs that you find from common internet searches are not reliable sources and do not count as your “academic sources.” Absolutely NO homework help (or cheat) sites are allowed to be used. These are not reliable, they often result in plagiarism for the unsuspecting student who thinks s/he has found an easy way to avoid doing the work! (These type sites plagiarize other authors’ work then when you use that you too are guilty of plagiarism and will be reported to the University for disciplinary action.)
Just as you were instructed in Orientation, ALL RULES OF CITATION ACCORDING TO APA STYLE AND ALL RULES OF QUOTATION WILL BE ENFORCED IN THIS CLASS.
